Vintage Remakes - Vintage gowns are, sometimes, a puzzle - I take them apart and put the pieces back together to make a different picture.  A reworked gown is extremely gratifying - using a gown that has a history for you but wearing it in a way that is all your own, makes a beautiful statement.

Go Green - I make an effort to reduce, reuse and recycle in my general business practices.  If you would like to take things a step further and use sustainable fabrics or design your gown in a way that would be re-usable for you, I'm all ears!

Veils and accessories - I'm happy to make (or remake) veils, garters, shrugs, shawls, capes, or belts.

Mother of the Bride/Groom, Prom, or Debutante - Yes!

Alterations - I don't sew general alterations - hemming, taking in, letting out, etc.

pricing

Custom gowns start at $2,500 and can range up to $5,000. Your gown is one of a kind - it is thoughtfully handcrafted, made with luxurious materials.  Because each gown is so different, pricing has to be done on an individual basis.

Remaking a vintage gown ranges from $1,000 to $5,000.  The time it takes to carefully pull a gown to pieces and put it back together makes the pricing almost equivalent to a garment made from new materials, but the value in wearing a gown that means more to you than something off a rack is worthwhile.

Accessories generally start around $200 and range up to $1,000.

Let me know what projects you think we could collaborate on - I love contributing to editorial photo shoots and costuming for films and plays. I'd love to work with a little boutique, expanding my designs into a small line of gowns. Let's do this :)
